Escaped Crab

I was wondering how long could a fresh water crab live outside of water and is it possible to lure it with food from where ever it is hiding?
Sorry, I'm in a frantic rush to find this lil guy I'm worried about him.

If you have an HOB, I'd check there first. Then go look in dark places, under sofas, other rooms (my crayfish traveled pretty far). Good luck! Hope you find him live and well.

Unfortunately I didn't find him =(. I spent most of the night searching for him. But i only expect the worse for him and believe that one of my dogs got to him.

i do see myself getting maybe a few in the future, but not anytime really soon. I want to really sit down and make sure I make their tank as escape proof as possible
