Euro Reef vs. Asm skimmer...

Have you looked into these skimmers

They are better than the ASM's but just under the Euro Reef and a LOT cheaper than both of them. If you realy want one of those you cant go wrong with either one.

Ok, so whats up with the octopus skimmers? Any thoughts from anyone... I like the price of this though...

ASM's are spinoffs of the Euro Reef but with cheaper materials and some other minor difference's and the Octopus is a spinoff also but with materials very close to the Euro Reef. I have an ASM G2 and am very happy with it and a friend of mine got and Octopus 200 Recirculating Skimmer and it is a VERY GOOD skimmer and built much better with what seems to be better materials and I believe that the Octopus 150 is built the same size as the ASM G2. If I would have known about the Octopus beforehand I would have never even looked at the ASM's of Euro Reef's.

I have the EuroReef RS80 on my 30gal reef and i love it.. it can handle a much bigger tank too...
