From this and other stories you've told about your friends, it sounds like you have a number of friends that take advantage of your kind and generous nature. Complaining that you'd rather spend money on YOUR fish, than on buying HIM beer? It's not your responsibility to buy him beer, it's not your responsibility to give him a place to stay. If anything, he should be buying YOU beer or fish supplies in gratitude for your hospitality. If the thanks you get from a person for doing those things, is them destroying your property, in this case your LIVING property... that person IS NOT a friend. There is absolutely no excuse for a person doing such a thing, and it's a red flag telling you that they don't actually care about you whatsoever. You shouldn't just tell them they can't stay, you should really break off ties with them altogether. People like that are not worth the trouble they add to your life for their own personal amusement.
