Ever have a bad water change day

I think it's only teenagers that can multi-task these days!!
 
This isn't like me at all Im always on top of things (well almost). I think Im coming down with a bug becasue I have been in a fog all day, like Im wide awake but my reaction and concentration are way off like Im moving underwater. I got the flew shot in Oct but not the H1N1, not until they allow working class nobodies like me to get one lol, next month I think. Too late maybe.

Can you believe after I wrote the last posting on this I could hear water pouring off the top of my 244 but this time ran to the facet and hit reverse on the python, only about 1/2 a gallon spilled. That make 3 out of 5 tanks ever. Hopefully its the regular flew and the antibodies from the vaccine I got in Oct are doing "Kill Bill" moves on the that bug inside my body and just feeling the normal bruising from a hard won clean fight, will see lol.:crazy:
 
don't feel bad, i overflowed one and had the hose pop out of one yesterday, and drained about 90% out of the 150gal before i had the floor mopped up, thought i was the only one who did this, atleast now i feel better, almost forgot about once a month my dog will be nice enough to take the hose out of the tub while i'm draining and commence to play in the water on the floor.
 
well not as bad as your day but i did this the other day.
well i'm doing water changes got the 55 drained, and start to refill ( python guys) go to check the bathroom sink and the rooms flooded no water on the sink tho. ok i mop it up. drain the 75 down flip the switch to refill and see a jet shooting out the side of the hose

i'm thinking my little WC crew got a bit too happy with the hose..i had to cut 4 ft off the hose but its all good now...oh BTW my waterchange crew are two male shih tzus who love that hose....
 
well my pitt doesn't wanna play with the hose, he's just fascinated with the water coming out of it and he loves to splash in it like he's digging in his own lil imaginary sandbox.
 
Yes, almost that bad...tho without the running hose thru the house and the pizza.

If I could just force myself to STAY PUT and do ONE tank at a time....


I don't have ADHD..I just dont have enough things to keep me occupied...
 
Wow....that is a bad day Chief. I hope you are feeling back to normal tomorrow and don't get sick.
 
Last weeks change was kinda rough. Slightly more than average spillage by being distracted by other issues like AC110 sounding awful after refilling the 75. Then changed my 10 and when plugged back in the filter did not respond at all, so I ran and got a spare from the garage, swapped the media, and somewhere in there noticed that a lizard had ridden the hose straight into my 75 and was freaking out. I think there was more strangeness going on but I've blocked that out apparently.....
