They do seem to breed quite easily for me...getting the fry beyond a few weeks is the challenge. Out of a dozen spawns, I only had success with 2. Once there, yes you have a load of them!

BN are fine in solitary. If you don't want them to breed, either keep just 1 or make sure they are all the same sex. It is harder to NOT breed them than it is to breed them.

Easy to breed algae eater that does well in all sorts of conditions. They do a great job on most types of algae and don't bother other fish. The stores are also able to get a much higher price for them compared to common pleco's.

Yep your going to be seeing more of them. Even the big box stores are carrying them now.
