Excel melting plants?

I keep hearing that Flourish Excel will melt some plants. Can anyone tell me exactly which plants melt from Excel? Thanks!

only plant that i know of are Vals

I believe vallis and anacharis are effected by it. I *think* sags are too, but I'm not sure.

yeah vals are the biggies. I can't remember if my sags were affected or not.

I have dwarf sag and lots of val. Last year I forgot and dosed more then I should. Only the val melted, but they did make a come-back.

I 2nd, or 5th, or whatever the number is up to - (Most) Vals, and anacharis, will melt from (too much) excel.

I've heard several people use excel per the dosing instructions without vals melting. I'm trying that with vallisneria americana now - we'll see.

Vals and anacharis are the big ones. I've dosed less than the instructions with both though.

Seachem recommends dosing every other day rather than daily for sensitive plants, perhaps that'll work?
