I just started using excel, was using yeast co2 but levels wern't very good cause have a bit of bba now. Can you you tell what your co2 level is the same way with yeast with the tables? And i hear people say you can spot treat with it how do you do this? Thanks for any advise.

I got ferts from greg and have been using for a week now and seen 3-4 inches of growth so far, so thank all of you who had helped me with that also.

No, you can't detect amounts of Excel using tests like you can with CO2.

To spot treat, turn off your filters, use a syringe or turkey baster and squirt directly on the algae. Try not to make waves or move around very fast. Let it sit there for a few minutes then turn your filters back on. Within a few days it should turn red then white. When mine turned red, some fish started to eat it away.
