I bought 3 they are on clearance and now I am using 4 of these (already had one i been using) on different tanks and I am very happy with them. when i checked and seen them on clearance i went ahead and bought 3 more to upgrade my tanks filtering. just thought I would let someone else know if they have been looking for a complete set up right out of the box nothing else to buy. It also comes with a 4 gallon auto refill system to keep your tank full i have found this pretty handy.

sorry i cant advise on saltwater tanks i run these on my freshwater tanks
 
nice.

ps: you know you can save A LOT of money by building these out of rubbermaid tubs and using plastic pot scrubbers as bio media right? or are these for aesthetics?

yes they are often used in FOWLR set ups.

most of the marine enthusiasts i know prefer fuges but some will run both. using wet dry as removing detritus
or as a place for another skimmer(btw this set up has a built in skimmer)
