Expensive fish...

I have seen one of those (emperor Angelfish) for sale in Australia for $70 and it was 4 inches long! i plan on getting one in my 7 ft tank.

Yeah, that seems about in line with liveaquaria.com's price for that fish... is the "instant gratification" of a full-grown fish worth an extra $830 to you? :)

Then again, hopefully "full grown" does not mean he's near the end of his lifespan.

How much is shipping on a fish like that? Or does the free shipping apply to them aswell?
 
I would love to have a Dragon Eel, but could never get the money to get a big enough aquarium or the money to actually buy the animal.
 
I agree, Floridaboy, they are too much interested in the money side, and don't care about the well being of these animals. It is the same with tangs, they cover large areas and they recommend a 50 gallon for a YT it is cruel IMO. And they also state it is an easy fish to keep, IMO if you feed them the correct diet and keep them in Large tanks then the fish is easy to keep, but not with incorrect diets or small 50 gallon tanks.
