Experience with corys?

Hey Dread, are the are adolfi just as active as the more common types and is the water parameters about the same? The shop that has them by me said they were wild caught and and like softer water. Also do you remember how much you paid for yours?

I keep them all in softer water. I haven't taken measurements in a long while, but the water is definately on the softer and acidic side. The Adolfi is lazier, but it's really not that noticeable. I think at my LFS they were 3 for $15, so that's $5 each, since they're pretty mid-ground fish here. They aren't that common, but no one really wants them.

I've got 3 types of cories, Arcuatus, Paleatus & Triliniatus, 6 of each and while all 18 intermix and hang out together, it's very common to see all 6 of one type off on a "mission" of some sort. I expect yours will be very happy in a group of 8-10, whether one type or two.

Keep Smilin'
John :)
