Expired Test Kit?

I think my Tetra brand ammonia liquid test kit might be old. The last couple times I've tested the solution has come out pink instead of green. There is no pink on the chart. I'm going to toss it and get a new one but has anyone had this happen? Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Thanks!

Test it with tap water and see if it turns pink also. If so I'd say the test was old.

It funny your the only other person I have heard say that their ammonia test turns pink. The fish lady sup at out LFS once told me that her angel tank water is so well maintained and ammonia free that her test result always turn pink which is a good sign, I though she was being sarcastic lol.
