Explain your username

Thought this would be a fun thread to unearth!! Um, lets see, my username, Bitsy, has been my nickname since I was a little kid. My mom's maiden name is Soule and there is that song, Little Bit of Soul, well all of her friends started saying I was a little bit of Soule, then it went to Bits, and eventually progressed into Bitsy. All of my family and most of my close friends still call me Bitsy, it wasn't until junior high that I started going by Elizabeth, my given name. :) We had moved (AGAIN) and it was just easier at a new school to not have to explain my nickname since it's not really a logical nickname for Elizabeth. So there we go, that's my explanation! Lets hear everyone else's who hasn't already explained!! :)

Mine is short for ratherbegardening, which is what I liked to do more than anything - until I got back into keeping fish :girl: 'Fishing' is a lot cleaner and a whole lot easier on the back. :dive2:

A person; Nikola Tesla. Not only was he the greatest inventive genius of all time, he had personality quirks that were fascinating. I am an electrical engineer who works with high voltage and am currently working on a home Tesla Coil project.

If you look at post #269, page 18 of the "mugshots" thread, you'll see one of my past Frankenstein projects behind me.

Too many wires and such for me. I'd probably start a fire!

Cool. Nice photo too.

Coupe de fleur is the model name that Superior Coach used for their flower cars.

That's my '66 in my avatar photo. Flower cars are super-rare- Superior built 30 in 1966, and only 5 of them survive. I use the name on a couple pro-car boards, and I don't like dreaming up a new user name for every board I join!

Think I've posted this here before, but couldn't find it, so....

Spent 20 years in the Air Force, Avionics Tech on the F-111 "Aardvark".

Like the name so much I've since used it as a username, Named my business as such (www.aardvarkarms.com -sorry for the spam), and named my 1960 Land Rover with the moniker (Brit car owners tend to name their vehicles)
