Explain your username

I was in a forum years ago that started having "impersonators" logging in with other peoples names, so then they made you chose a name and keep it.

Many people were taking Anon, Anon1, Anongirl, AnonDad, and so I decided that my online "persona" would be anonomous and gender neurtal, since sometimes that is an issue.

I came up with Anonapersona. And I liked the rhyme in it. And my first name is Ann. So it is a triple play.
 
pophead.... :rolleyes: well my friends started calling me that because it just fit my personality. they say "oh pophead" when I do crazy acts of popheadness.
actually much of it comes from riding my bike into a rock.(long story) :duh:

I always thought people came up with the "onion" part b/c of that thing where people tend to read over words and skip the vowels or whatever...When I look at it, the i kind of becomes part of the r~~ri, looks like an n...

Charles DeLint is one of my favorite authors--The Onion Girl is actually a really good read for those interested in modern fairy tales.

Oh--and for the dog--he is kind of stinky.... :D

I said The Onion Girl was a good book here (in the chat room I think) - I was definetly in the minority with that opinion that night. Glad to see someone else enjoyed it too.

I was curious about your name as subLime live near me onj queen street west ,they are @ ossington lmao ,everytime I see your name I wonder if your one of them.
My nickname was cub in school & when I went online teletubbies were all the contraversy so I use tele as I am coming to you through the phone lines via the web & cubby .
 
Mine is just parts of my name mixed together...

First name, Amy. Last name, uh, something else that includes knif...

Seeing as I can't think of anything overly interesting I may as well tell the truth.

Dougall is short for McDougall's, the name of my favorite fish + chip shop back home (I believe it's gone now) at the time when I was first discovering the internet back in the early 90s..


I used it for some reason when I needed a nickname in a hurry (Was probably eating chips at the time..) and it kind of stuck..
 
Mine came from a favorite character in a gothic novel.....a tragic heroine who has an evil twin and was possessed by Satan.....held captive in a room, only to be rescued by a hulking hero with an accent.....;)
