Exploding Worm!!

Hi all
This is the second time we have seen a white earth worm thingy appear from nowhere, go madly around the tank. First one hit the back wall and exploded. The second one did the same thing but ended up being sucked into one of the bulkheads.
Can anyone say what this is?
Is it good or bad?

Sounds really weird. I have never seen a white worm, exploding or otherwise.

Some worms produce swimming bags of gametes, which will come apart if they get stuck. They are a pretty common sight in tanks with new live rock or live sand.

The rock is not new but ok.
