The one you just posted is the one i am curentley using. I dont think it would work outside the tank. It comes apart fairly easy. Last thing you would want is a leak in it and emptying you tank on you floor overnight

Well I thought of sealing it with silicone...

I think I'll go for the second one I posted on the first page....the only think I'm worried is the mist that it might create in my tank....but I guess I can always put it on the intake hose(right after the intake pipe), this way it's gonna go throgh the filter too so there's more water contact...and being such small bubbles they might disolve before even getting into the filter....
