That is silly--very redneck, but the more of those silver carp (or are they grass carp?) they can remove the better.

This was shot at the Peoria lock and dams, I have been fishing there my whole life. THese are asian carp and they are the worst menace to our river ecosystem you could imagine. They have almost decimated the threadfin and gizzard shad population in this area. The shard are what sustains pretty much the rest of the food chain. THere are areas of the river that aren't even safe to boat because of the risk of getting hurt by flying carp.
