Time for an update methinx! 
4 months down the line... plants growing nicely... fishies getting along quite nicely (only 1 death by aggression)... The Kenyi's and Red Zebra's have grown 2" and spawned... water parameters rock solid stable... need to replace the lighting - after 18 months continuous use it's looking really dull and the centre CF has died... otherwise no complaints!
