extremely sick feather fin syno

in the span of about 2 days it had these large white spots on his body and all around his mouth. all but about 3 wiskers have turned white and fallen off. his fins and tail are rotting. i dont think hes gonna make it but i was wondering if this has been seen or if you know of a good disease info website. thank you in advance

Is the white stuff fluffy? Sounds like some kind of fungal infection, but that's just a guess without a picture. This is a great site for disease diagnosis, but it's not up and running as of 6:45 a.m. my time: http://www.fishpalace.org/Disease.html

thank you for the website. i didnt really see anything similar but they mentioned ulcers, and i thought that might be the answer i will try to provide a picture but im not certain if i can or not. thank you again
