OH OH the worm i saw last night streached more then 5 maybe 10 cm didnt run with red light , ity looked to have 2 heads on the end .
What is this ???? any ideas???

ok break time , that red light works great most take 4 ever to notice and it dosnt bother the creepy crawlies
Next, try lying on the floor and look up at your tank. Sounds silly but a completely different perspective. The red filter is definitely the best IMO. The get one of the cheap 1 watt moonlights with the bendable arm.

put it so it shines down into the tank, not from the side, gives a shimmering effect that IMO is amazing.

my goodness , i talked to hubby last night and fell asleep by 12pm omg i was so tired from the night b4 lol.
yes woodright get the red one it works great , most dont run and hide , although some do .
I have noticed some of my rock has white spots that kinda look like salt and is dusty when touched ,and i believe their is a connection between the spots and where the worms are feeding .
i think i should start taking notes.........
I did however see that the pc monitor is too bright so i shut it off and waited then looked , one flatter rock had about 5 worms streached out , i have so many worms lol

gee i hope it floats lol
but if i lay on the floor the dane will trample me and may break some of my ribs ,she has bruised them a few times already lol
I so want more LR ........ im thinking i should fill my tank first with LR then start thinking about other stuff ,but im thinking OMG its gonna cost at least another 1500 to fill it arugg lol
I could tho put some base rock right ?

The dusty spots could either be the detritus the worms are feeding from or just their fecal pellets.
