Eyes (pics)

I took a bunch of pictures of my Apistogramma Cacatuoides male. He was being very cooperative sitting out in the open staying still. Here are some closeups of his eyes and face that look kinda creepy. It is kind of cool as well, you can see the shape is very convexe.

Those are really cool, really shows you the detail of the eye. when you just look at them you don't appreciate how bumpy/holey they faces really are

valerie: Yah he does have a lot of little holes on his face, you don't really notice until you look at a close-up picture.

Regarding the Ocellatus: I took a few pictures of my Ocellatus and fry the other day, but wasn't happy with the results. I'll try again in the next few days.
