Fake plant ???

Hi...

I know this is where people talk about there real plants, but I don't see a thread for misc., stuff. Anyway....people talk about using silk plants, can I use regular everyday silk plants or do I need to get the ones they have in the aquarium section? Usually the one's for aquarium you only get few in a pack.

as long as they dont have metal in it you can use it. some stems and leafs have wires running though it.

Such as the ones from the dollar store? Some people claim they had no problems with it, but for my own experience I only used live plants so far.

I'd worry the dyes might run or be unhealthy for fish.
