I put some clear tape on the head and played with the logo. I also planed down the fretboard and stained it cherry. I might go darker if I can find some darker stain. I think I will try to use solder wire for frets... glue them down and be done. the finish nails seem like too much work for a guy with few tools.

I found a picture of a strat that Hendrix used that I want to model this one after. Notice the extra strap button on the right side. I'll need to paint it up nice and then give it the distressed look. Since the body will be made of plywood this may not work out too well but time will tell.
