Fake Stratocaster wall hanging build.

OK. I did much tonight. It'd be easier at this point to say whats left to do rather than to list what I have done. I need to figure out the wires a bit better at the headstock and the flare on the knobs with the numbers has to be figured out. It needs some touch-up with the paint and a wax job to bring up some shine. Strap buttons need to be figured out too. THAT'S IT!

Not much more left to post about here. I fixed the strings and added strap buttons so you know what that means.

Great job, Ken!!!

amazing nice work

Looks great!

Just curoius why you didnt make a lefty model?

This is supposed to be a replica of a Jimi Hendrix guitar. He used right handed guitars and played lefty. Stevie Ray Vaughn was so inspired by Jimi, as many other artists were and are, that he had a left handed bridge put on his guitar so the whammy bar would be at his hand the same as Jimis. I don't know if I'll make an SRV guitar but if I do it will be VERY distressed.

I haven't distressed this guitar to look like Jimis and I'm not sure I can bring myself to do it... Time will tell.
