Lookin' good man. I gotta put the finishing touches on my 20g lol...then maybe it'd look half decent.

Aquascape

I need your opinions, ideas and suggestions on the aquascape for my 35g.

I was sick of the aquascape that it had earlier today, so I decided to mix it up a little. I'm still working on it because I don't really like the scape that it has at the moment.

Here is the tank right now:

But I need your ideas and suggestions on what to do now. Move a few rocks and wood around, leave as is, or go with an entirely different scape.

Thanks guys!

i would group your three 'stumpy' looking upright wood pieces on the right hand side, coming out from the corner. the other skinnier piece of wood i would turn horizontally and have it come from the centre rear of the tank angling towards the left front corner (but have it be elevated above the substrate - the short arm of the wood in the centre rear of tank, comes up and then the long arm goes towards left front corner - make any sense to you? lol). plant about half your stem plants in amongst the three 'stumpy' woods, put 1/4 of stem plants in the back left corner (spread out a little bit), and get some crypts to fill in the middle between the stumpy woods and the other wood that is angled towards left front corner. put leftover 1/4 of stem plants along the back wall of the tank wherever you see empty areas.

the smaller of the rocks i would place in front of the stumpy woods and plant a few java ferns in between the nooks n crannies.

that's almost exactly like i described. yay! give BFM a cookie for communication! hahaha.

the skinny wood i would flip over so the long part of it is elevated above the substrate. so the shorter part of it is coming up from the back of the tank and then the long part is angling down towards the front of the tank and the end of the long part touches the substrate in the front. makes sense? lol
