FallenAngel's Photo/Video Gallery

WOW, what pictures!
I like your presentation, makes me feel like I am right there watching the goings-on.
I enjoyed them all. You seem to be the kind of enthusiast who likes to photograph uncommen things, yup, I like that.

What kind of fertilizer do you use - in water and in substrate?
Do you use CO-2?

Keep up the good work and send photos, okay?

Thank you alot, Sigrid :).

I guess I like to photograph whatever I find interesting that someone else might like to have a look at. I can give my word that 99% of the updates in this thread are accompanied by photos, I can't imagine an update without photos. :nilly:

Honestly, I don't use Co2 in any of my tanks, except for the 35g. It's not pressurized, and I don't even think that it works. It is the Nutrafin 'Nature Style' Mini-Co2 canister. It doesn't actually make any bubbles (that I can see) but I think that that is because the filter outlet makes oxygen bubbles (which gases out the Co2) but you never know, maybe it works when I'm not looking. I really should get that looked at.

I don't use any fertilizers, yet, but I am thinking of using possibly Flourish Excel, Trace Elements or Comprehensive. The plants seem to be doing fine regardless, including algae :shakehead:.

New Betta

Sorry for the lack of updates guys, I've been really busy lately.

Not much new has been happening within my aquatic world. I plan on getting some more plants and gravel etc.

I did get a new female betta though, I think she's a red - mustard gas. She's really nice, I got her online from an 'accidental' breeder, so he's quite good quality. Pretty fat with eggs too, so she must be pretty healthy. She has moved into the 35g (which hasn't changed much lately).

I also noticed while doing a waterchange on the White Cloud Mountain Minnow tank (8g) that there were a few teeny fry floating around. Quite amazing, really, considering this tank hasn't had a waterchange in 2 weeks, is room temp, no filter (yet), no plants and only has a little bubbler to keep the water from stagnant.

Unfortunaly they're too small for the camera to get a photo so if they end up surviving I'll post some photos. Big things are coming soon to the 8g :). The fry are currently in my 1/2 gallon cylinder vase 'tank'. Nothing much has changed with that, either.

So to make up for that, here are some cories:

Nice betta!

Your tanks look amazing, FA! The 35 especially is gorgeous and growing in very nicely! Did you get a new camera? The pics are looking super spiffy! I love the new betta girl - she looks like a red cambodian, very pretty. Congrats on all of your fish babies - I hope they grow big & strong! :)
