Fancy Godfish

fancy goldfish can have warmer temps than say Comets. A heater is usually placed in the tank to keep the temp from fluctuating too much. I usually keep my tank at 74, I've read that anywhere between 60 and 75 is fine.

I keep my heater at 72*. It never goes on, but it's there just in case someone goes and opens a window in the winter or something and forgets.

Ok, thanks for the info. I am going to buy a book (eventually) before I get started and read up on everything about them. Do you have any suggestions?
