mine did the same thing then a month or so later. the mother had more. i count like 20 some bigger ones in my tank and around 30 smaller ones. my male looks very cool with a yellow tail and black specs on it and black lines and all. be has like a black dot on his sides also right behind the gills. and almost like a cheata yellow and black specs over his body also. it looks like some of the fish that people would say is Show Quality you see people trying to sell on ebay for alot of money. but all of my babys seam to have the black and blue tail like the mother fish. the same thing happen with my bright red female fish. nothing looked like the dad they all looked like the mothers collors. but the males did get very nice tails on them.
