And my tank trim. Now don't worry folks, there is a point to this madness! (i hope lol) As you can see i took out the stag. bihar on the left. Its just to big, and I with school starting I don't see a 90 gallon happening anytime soon(though im always on the look) I replaced it with the hygro. bold I started out with like 5 stems of that and now have about 15! They grow fast. I then trimmed the rotala hra behind the driftwood. Replanted the stems they are planted to the right of they hygro and to the left of the rotala hra. Basically everything got trimmed and replanted. Now the open space whre they hygro used to be will be filled in with the tall green vals on the right and the pogestemon yatebanus on the left.
This is the hardest part for me. Trimming the plants back. The tank will look like crap for a week or two, but well worth it I hope.

This morning.

Oh and the big gray thing on the intake is a boyu co2 diffuser. NOt sure how well it works yet, but It does what I want, no micro bubbles in the tank, and appears to be 100% dissolution of the co2 into the tank!

Wow! I am just in disbelief! And the color in the plants seem to be popping now too! And my ludwigia cuba and pogostemon erectus, which werent growing with diy co2, have showed signs of growth now too! Im just amazed

:iagree: love the lotus and the left stem! Your HC is gonna carpet the whole tank in no time :)

My recommendation if you can be patient is do nothing believe it or not because your plan to add pressurized Co2 can change the tank itself and you are going to be deciding what to do again in a few weeks.

Cuba under the right conditions in my 120g can get 3" accross per stem see post #18 2nd pic

so some of the species in your tank may or may not go through a drastic change it is probably to early to make those decision right now.

Aren't you glad you didn't do anything to crazy... wait for it....

I told you so....

JK. Great News!!!!!! it is very impressive.

Haha thanks guys, the lotus has always grown fast, I just ususally keep it trimmed down, but college and work full time....I havent touched it all week. Fishycat...when i get my tools(they are coming from aquamagic or something to that affect...idk that they were located in another country when I ordered them)I plan on trimming the hc and growing it on the left side to and it should carpet the whole left side. And Jay...yea glad I didnt do anything to crazy. I can only imagine what the tank will look like in a month

I love the addition of pressurized co2, or at least my plants do! Here is another weekly update. As you can see I removed the microsword in the front left and will now be doing hc all through out the foreground. I also moved my ludwigia cuba front and center since they have taken off and actually are starting to show signs of growing red leaves. My lotus continues to produce huge leaves and I had to cut them back to keep them from blocking the light. I am very pleased with the look of my tank right now.
