Favorite Beverage beer/liquor/soda

Chamdor, white wine (anything works for me; not picky), red wine, blueberry vodka (may need to recall what brand it was), coke and San Miguel Light.

I drink mostly coffee or water, but if I could get my hands on a 16 oz. glass returnable bottle that use to come in an 8 pack, Royal Crown Cola, that would be awesome (those of you old enough should know what I am talking about). I am not much of a beer drinker, but if I have one it is a Yingling. My favorite liquor would have to be Ameretto...straight although Ouzo is pretty tasty too. Oh and wine would be Spetlase.

non-alcohol = water
alcohol = Beer! Nuff said.

Let's see... a lot of this is going to sound a little weird. But here goes.

For coffee, I've stayed with Gevalia's Stockholm Roast for ages. Favorite tea would be Earl Grey or the Queen Mary tea by Twinings (which I've never found available in the States), along with lots of the herbals... Red Zinger, Almond Sunset, and several others. Caffeinated soda favorites are Mtn. Dew and Dr. Pepper. I also use sodas mostly not as they are but just to add a hint of flavor to water. I don't really like drinking plain water, so I'll fill a glass about a 1/4 way with Sprite, then add water to the top. Rarely use ice or even bother to refrigerate my sodas/etc.

No real preference between American beers and I don't remember the names of those I liked best while I lived in Germany (early-mid 80s). For wines, I'll usually have a Piesporter or Riesling/Spatlese. Columbia Crest (Washington) puts out a Gewurztraminer that I really like. I've always intended to order that by the case, but never have. Also like a few of the sparkling wines or sekt.

As something of a family tradition, we celebrate special or fun days (birthdays, anniversaries, or events like the Super Bowl or Indy 500) by having a champagne breakfast.... which would be at least some cold ham and hot cinnamon rolls as a starting point, usually with either champagne cocktails or mimosa.

When having margaritas, I'd rather not have mine blended into a slush with crushed ice. If I'm out, I'll usually order something like scotch and water or maybe a gin and tonic. At home, I usually have some gin, Canadian whiskey, vodka, and tequila on hand. Favorite liquiors are Amaretto, Bailey's, Kirsch.

Yep pretty much, Luppy. I guess if you don't really want an answer, then don't ask the question. ;)

You're really warming my fingers up. We shall see...

When I was 15, we had a Christmas holiday and during that Christmas Eve, my father asked me to try Chamdor. I was quite hesitant at first because when I took a vacation with my family in the beach a few years before that, I was asked to taste the San Miguel beer-Pale Pilsen to which I responded by retching in disgust after taking big gulps and swore to myself I would never ever try that stuff again. How do some men bear the taste of that nasty stuff?lol The stuff was served cold but I didn't like the taste anyway.:y220d: Going back to Chamdor, I was told it isn't alcoholic and I read the label. Not alcoholic indeed because I was still leery at alcoholic drinks tasting weird. So I grabbed a few goblets of it and emptied the whole bottle in the process for an hour.

Then comes the red wine. I tasted it for the first time and could not bear it too. Wimpy I know. So I mixed it with Coke. Gradually, I began to use small glasses and drink red wine using them. I eventually managed to drink a lot without screwing my face.lmao The white wine tasted a lot sweeter for me and I can drink a bottle easily unless you pick the wrong time of the day and go asleep instead.:hypnotized: And there is the San Miguel-Light. I took to it easier than the Pale Pilsen type. It was a much better and tastier drink. *smacks lips in appreciation*

I bought blueberry vodka during my vacation in summer. I did not like it much before but still tried it anyway because I get what I paid for. I eventually learned to take it well since it was a mildly strong drink. My last tour for the university involved drinking strawberry wine and one was filled with 25% alcohol. The saleslady kept urging me to drink glass after glass and I declined after two glasses since it was making me a bit drowsy and it was an early morning too. Right, little ray of sunshine. I bought a bottle anyway and enjoyed it.

There you are. My essay is done and truth be told I love unicorns.:y220e:
