Just curious, since we have a great cross-section of demographics here, what is your favorite female hairstyle in general? I like a wide variety, and change my own hairstyle often, but I have to say my fave is "long and sleek". I'm also curious to know if it also bugs any of you when you think you finally found a unique style that's good for you, then you discover that it's the "in" cut, and half of women will be wearing it by the end of the month. :p:  ;)

Okay, now how do I edit the poll!? I accidentaly entered the wrong number, then when I went back to change it I couldn't even finish entering the poll questions.

Well, currently my hair is really short, and curly. Not my favorite--think it can be pulled off, just not like this. I really like long styles, but have enough hair that it gives me a headache if my hair is more than just past my shoulders.

And no, I don't really care if my hair is unique. Just not one of those things I focus on longer than making sure it's clean, healthy, and out of my way. :)

My favourite styles always seem to be what don't end up suiting my hair's texture, and my lack patience for spending a lot of time on it. :p:

I've been blessed a thick head of somewhat wavy, dark brown hair. It gets a little curlier as it gets longer. I love long, straight hair, but it's a pain to staighten all the time. So with long hair, I usually end up frustrated with it and pulling it into a ponytail. I like shorter hair that is either straight (again, the straigtening issue!) or kind of a wash n' wear textured/messy shag...but my waves never really seemed to fall quite right, so it can take a lot more fussing than I want. I guess my best cut, that really suits my lifestyle, is very short...but I'm not wanting really short hair right now.

Hmmm, I think it may just be the time for a haircut...I seem to be extra frustrated with the state of my hair cut right now. :o

Gotta wonder how much of that is the stylists in your area promoting a certain "new" look to a number of clients...and you just happen to be the first adopter of the style?

I'm certainly not a fan of the styles many women wear around here, and just end up getting a cut that's the best for me at the time...who cares what everyone else does or says!

LOL....we always want what we don't have....

I have long STRAIGHT hair...and I hate the straight....lol...I prefer a spiral perm...basically wash & wear....and in the wind we have here, forget any kind of hairdo!

I like what takes me the least time to maintain. I used to do the curley all over perm thing, but now it's short, parted on side, and combed back, with a few bangs over the front.

You type in the most normal word in google search and you get the most unexpected things (beehive pantyhose?)

I have long and straight. The front is swooped over to the side.... I prefer not to do too much, wash and wear pretty much.... well, I do have to dry it, otherwise it would take hours to dry.... the only pain is how quickly it grows.... I usually have it cut about shoulder length but it's down my back in no time.
