favorite fish...

oh that's hard. . . my bettas: Tabi-chan and Arised, and my bulldog pleco: Norbert.

But Kamakazi and Go-go(swordtails) crack be up with thier filter surfing and peek-a-boo around the driftwood.

The proletariats are facinating tho- love watching thm hop around and chow diligently (amano shrimp)

My corys are so cute when they're all riled up too: wiggle hovering and shooting to the surface-1 of them: "Man of the Tank" likes to charge the neons sometimes when they're in a tight pack- he's quite out-going for a cory

My favorite fish is probably my Rainbow Shark. His nickname is Mr. Sharky. He is about 4 inches long now and has an attitude. He defends his food relentlessly against the hungry barbs and loves to chase fish around the tank. Here is a picture taken about 6 months ago of him.

Mine would probably be my Kribs...they dont have any names but they are so much fun to watch when they go in the caves and dig out the sand....but I just got four apistos today so they are soon to become my favorites if they live.

My favorite fish is a tie between the apisto and panda cory.

My daughter and I are both fond of our red-tailed black shark, even though he is still in quarantine. I can already tell he is going to be a character. I don't name my fish, but she named him Bruce.

i finally got to read these today.. haha roan! nemo.. i added a bunch of duck weed and other live plants to my 75 gal its so pretty now, looks all greeny. also we are starting to get stuff for the other 75 gal thats been sitting empty on my livingroom floor for like 3 weeks, we got a bunch of black marine sand for the bottom.. i worry about colored rock or sand, dye leakin into the tank.. is the sand natural or dyed? the guy at the lfs couldnt tell me, but only said that hes only had a few grains here and there lose pigment in his tank over the course of a year, but thats blue sand.. this is black. this tank is going to be all frontosa, hopefully 5 female and a male, but id like to stick to 7 bar, and thats seeming like an impossibility since 7 bar are hard to locate, i can find tons of 6 bar, i if i breed 6 with 7.. would the fry be 6 or 7? or a mix of each? ino it takes a long time to breed frontosa, but hey, i have nothing but time.. and those fish are so beautiful i think they are worth the wait
