Mine has to be Kalimis in Oceanside, California. They make the best burritos I have ever eaten. Now if it is after a night of drinking and 2am then it has to be Krystal's or Denny's. They are the only places open at that time. :laugh:

Interesting you should qualify that last statement, T. Marines don't drink til 2 am then pour themselves into a booth at Denny's, do they? How's Okie these days? Still hot and humid?

Marina Pirata.

It's on the west side of Aruba outside of the tourest areas. Authentic (Very Fresh) Aruban seafood, and a floating deck to watch the sunset from. If you've never seen the sunset over the reef island on Aruba you haven't lived yet.

Second runner up would probably be "Sel de la terre" in Boston. Only because they have the best GLazed Salmon in the entire world.

Theres a place a town away from me thats called Chilies Thai Cuisine (not the chain Chilies in the US) and I would go there every day if I could! :)
 
My favorite is a little privately owned chinese resturant the next town over. Chinese Hot and Sour soup is my all time favorite and they make the BEST I have ever had. Yummmmmmmm! My hubby even knows not to drive by without picking me some up. I LOVE the owners too. We are there often and I have struck up a friendship with the hostess. Wonderful gal and has really been a treat to know her. She has taught my kids a few chinese words and how to eat with chopsticks, shared recipes and really became a friend.
Chinese food...well good chinese food is my very favorite.
