IMO..IHOP food not good. I can't imagine that the pancakes would be any good there either...:D

ROFLMAO Nursie!!! but don't you think it would depend on who's working at the time?

There's a little restaurant/fishmarket called Jensons that I like to go to. It's one of the few places around here where one can get a good broiled seafood dinner w/o paying an arm and leg for it.

Interesting you should qualify that last statement, T. Marines don't drink til 2 am then pour themselves into a booth at Denny's, do they?

I know that is hard to believe. :D It was different in my younger days when my body would let me stay out all night and then run first thing in the morning. Now after 14 yrs in, I just can't do that anymore.

As for the food, the problem is that there is neither one of them here. So we find ourselves getting Yako Soba or Taco Rice & Cheese out in Kinville (Sinville).

How's Okie these days? Still hot and humid?
Sounds like you were in at one time. Okie is still hot and humid, but I only have 16 more days till I rotate back to the States. As for Okie itself, it is nothing like it used to be. It is alot more tame, but that is because the younger Marines have to be back on base by midnight and not allowed to have cars. I guess rank has its privileges. :D

theres this small quaint restraunt right on the edge of the town i live in. they sell excellent burgers, tacos, and potato variations up the yin yang. they even have a dessert menu, but they are mostly known for their variety of burgers. they do have chicken, and if you really want to go healthy, nice salads. the best thing about this restraunt is that it's dirt cheap. they do have multiple locations around the island, and around the nation.

oh, btw, its jack in the box, gotta love the dollar menu when you're drunk

I guess I never thought about a favorite restaurant. As long as there is food I'm happy.

But, for the sake of the topic I will go with La Mesa. A Mexican restaurant in my area.

I tend to like privately owned restaurants more than chains - which means that no one would know the ones I like:)

As a rule, I'd rather grab a quick veggie sub or calzone, which means a local pizza place...they make the best veggie subs anywhere and their pizza is delicioussss too. I think it's because they're Greek:D We probably do that one or two times a week.

If we're eating out at a chain, my pick is Olive Garden. Since I won't eat a steak or something, they have a lot to choose from. In fact, I just had lunch there today. Mannicotti...mmm.

If anyones ever been to Rehoboth Beach Delaware there are a ton of great little restaurants. I think you could eat in a different one everynight for a whole summer and still not hit them all. I have 2 that I really like and recommend, The Back Porch and Taste. If you go the next town over, Dewey Beach, there is a great open air grill called Sharky's which is yummy for burgars, wraps, and some seafood. Its where I get breakfast and lunch most days I am there. Oh and he has a great Cuban sandwich there if you want a treat!
