I recently bought my first Feather Duster for my nano. I am wondering how much I should help it in finding a spot to reside. I have planted it, so to speak, on two occasions. But hoth times it, or somthing else, has moved, usually overnight. Otherwise, it appears healthy with it's feather dispersed as normal.

Any thoughts on this matter?

tie it to some rock.

a rubberband usually works or a few drops of superglue gel. after the featherduster is in one spot for a few weeks it will anchor itself down and whatever u used to tie it down can be removed. i would give it a good month or so just to make sure that hes anchored safely

fwiw, I'd use the super glue. Their shells aren't very sturdy and they squash pretty easy. Also it is far less visually intrusive. Make sure that you feed it phyto etc. they tend to waste away in a lot of peoples tanks
