Feather dusters

You would be more then welcome :) ^^^ my betta I bought for 10.00 and that unknown (still) I got for free b/c they not know what it was,

How long do you have to wait?

3.99 is an absolutly amazing price depending on how you look at it. i highly highly highly doubt those are even wholesale prices.... how big is it? so the price was good compared to what they usualy are
however, LTPs have a very poor survival rate in captivity. they need to be fed a lot, but even so usualy dont make it too long. the one you have there already has some obvious recession and the tentacles are not out either. definatly not a good sign. to tell you the truth, i always wanted one when i first started, but i have never seen one in a LFS that was doing even remotly well. very rarely do i see them in someone elses tank doing fantastic for very long. dont mean to be a downer. lol. it is an amazing coral, but low survival rate. make sure to feed it

the black powder isnt really a food its a supplement of minerals and so forth like everyone suggested id use live DT's phytoplankton or kent phytoplex with addition of phytoplan or marine snow for the dusters.
and that price is a steal dusters cost 1.99-4.99 whole sale here in CA so mark up is 300% on that so $5-$14.

I feed them every day with marine snow and phytoplex, if they do make it, how do the make whoopie?

also the one that was hiding on me was out in the store, it likes to react quickly to movememnt :) I lovem they are very cool

Sorry to hijack guys, but I was wondering if it was good to have feather dusters in a tank. I've heard people say that once you have a few, they're everywhere! Is it something that takes over or is this just a myth?
