Just checkin, always paranoid when I get new fishberts..... Specially this big boy he's a decent size will try for pics as soon as I can....

no i mean he ate almost everything that hit the substrate, and ate it quick. Mine was only around 3.5-4" but im sure if he was bigger my tetras would be in some trouble..

Your tetras would indeed be in trouble.:grinyes: They will try to eat small fish if given the opportunity.

You should not have any worries...I love my syno. I keep it with a pictus 4 clown loaches and a bichir and it doesnt bother any of them. Mine can definitely hold its ground and doesnt bother its tank mates. Mine also eats a lot...he eats like a vacuum

He was swimming around like a demon last night... when I dimmed the lights, doesn't seem to interested in the other fish, seems to quite like the pictus so I am more confident that he is gonna be a good tankmate.... (I hope).... Did worry about my ACF's as they are small but no worries there either it seems....

Depending on how small they are I would watch out for your ACFs.

I did wonder about that...... He just does not seem interested in them at all.... Even when they sit right beside him as they always do with the bigger fish...... Their minder (Chinese Algae Eater) is never far away from them......Its fearless
