Feed Mysis shrimp.

I have been feeding both my SW and FW fish mysis shrimp. Just read somewhere that I should not feed mysis to FW. Anyone know why??

I have fed mysis to my FW fish in the past.......

Brine are raised in much higher salinity.

Well like any food it wouldn't be good as exclusive feed but as part of a range of foods I see no issues with it (more meat on their bones than brine shrimp) Mysis shrimp are a regular part of the diet of my tropical fish.

the way i see it is.. my FW fish wouldn't eat mysis shrimp in the wild.. so why feed it to them? if i'm going to feed them live/frozen foods, they'll be organisms that were fw to begin with.

Umm J double R et al, mysis relicta are a fw shrimp.
