Feeder Guppies For Cycling

Here is a picture of a pregnant female guppy. I drew the red line, to where my female guppy is. I can see that it is sorta shiny, throughout the whole stomach area of my female.

Yea, there is a black spot. But all females do when they reach sexual maturity. It is staying at the bottom all the time...It doesn't really swim. Just laying around at the bottom. Does that mean it is sick? She doesn't look too good right now.

yeah, I agree with Kas... her gravid spot doesn't appear as large as I'd expect for a female if she were going to give birth at any time. When I meantioned the shiny spots, I meant tiny shiny specs within her dark spot only, you have her whole belly highlighted. If she gives birth soon (within a day or 2), I will be surprised because she doesn't look as "bursting at the seams" and a lot of females look when they are ready for birth.

Kasakato is right...I have 15 in a 29 gallon tank. I really don't mind if she's not ready to deliver. She just lies at the bottom of the tank, so Im afraid that she is sick. There is another female with a bent spine, but looks the same as the pregnant one.
