i have a quick question?

What can you feed carnivores?

Can i feed them pork, beef, fish from a grocery store, etc.
I'm currently feeding them sanfransico bay frozen beef heart but it is becoming hard to come by in new hampshire.
Any answers would be a huge help.

Thanks Mudvayne

Beef heart from the grocery store will be okay, as will most fish or crustaceans. Regular ground beef/pork/chicken will be a no-no--too fatty. A diet high in mammal fat is bad for fish--has to do with metabolising the fats and the temperature at which mammal fat solidifies.

Chicken and other poultry is not mammalian, but should also be avoided.

good suggestions.
with beefheart trim the fat.

(as mentioned) fat is not a good thing.
