Feeding Convicts

I have just purchased 3 convicts for breeding purposes. I am currently feeding them protein pellets and flakes, but how much should I feed them. My brother has an oscar fish so i am used to feeding as much as i want. Can you over feed convicts??

I feed w/harkari cichlid gold,and i only feed once a day in the morning.
You can over feed wich will result in poor water quality.

Also,only feed enough food that the fish will eat in 2 to 3 min.

I agree. I would only feed once, max. 2 times daily. And only feed what they can eat in a couple minutes. I have also found that Convicts absolutely love frozen bloodworms. You may want to try that out for a treat.
