Hi,

I will be setting up some 10 gallon tropical tanks around the house. At least 2 and probably all three with have some corydoras catfish (probably pandas and albinos). What should I feed them? I plan to feed the other fish a diet of flakes, floating and sinking pellets, and the occasional frozen food. However, I need something that will sink down for the catfish but won't be eaten by the other fish.

Also, do cory cats like algae wafers? That won't be the only thing, but I want to give them a varied diet.

thanks,
Isaac

all the foods that you listed for your other fish, the cories will love also. They aren't picky eaters and love the occasional blood worm. Almost any pellet will do mine liked the variety pellets over the algae pellets.

Ok, thanks for the responses. Any thoughts on how to make sure the food gets to the cories without being intercepted by other fish?

Mine go nuts for any leftovers. I use Hikari algae wafers and for blood worm I use Tetra Fresh Delicia Food. It's fresh not frozen so just sinks to the bottom!!!

I just picked up a Panda Cory and it doesn't seem to care for algae wafers, but it does seem to enjoy the leftover small sinking pellets that I feed a tankmate.
