Feeding fish vegetables/fruits

Never thought to try carrots, potatoes or apples for my bristlenose plecs and my clown loaches. Do you blanch them? I usually blanch the zuchini and spinach I have used. Mine aren't too thrilled with the spinach though. All my fish love skinless peas.

I don't blanch my potatoes. To be honest, I dont even know what blanching is. With the potato, I just peel it cut off a good sized peice and rinse it off then toss it in. Snails go to town.
 
Blanching is not needed at all. Especially for plecs.
It just makes the tank more messy.
 
Ok. So I don't need to blanch anything? Great. I can't remember who, but someone on the board told me to blanch stuff first. MUCH easier clean up this way. Thanks!

What would gupies eat?

:help: does any one have any idea what i can feed my guppies,glow lights, betta?

betta= brine shrimps,bloodworms,and any other insect-like food(bettas are insectivores)
guppys and glow lights= refer to my previous post in ths thread.
