feeding guppies

Lots of engery, but don't need to be fed all that often.
Mine are usually fed once a day, sometimes every second day, as they eat the algae in the tank, along with any tiny insects or their eggs. If there is fry in the tank that is under a weeks age, I do try to feed them twice a day (parents don't eat the young)

Oh, & they can litterally breed in any amount of water they are given, even a cup

Don't think for a second that a 10gal is too small. They will breed in a rain drop if given the chance! All my guppies are in a 10 gallon with a cory and I am forever moving fry to the grow-out tank, giving them away, or turning them into guppy-treats for the cichlids.

Hahaha.
Well, I'm just not sure I need to deal with fry right now...I think we will stick to the males when my daughter is old enough to take care of a tank by herself, she can throw in some females and see what happens. :)
