Feeding Issues

do you have any nitrAtes? having nitrates with 0 ammonia and 0 nitrite means your tank is cycled unless you have a heavely planted tank.

Something made your angel stop eating. If it has been eating and suddenly stopped, even tho it is new, water conditions are the first thing you look at. You added a large bio load to your tank at one time. Having a spike in water parameters is a realistic possibility seeing how your tank has been set up for only two months as it is not mature yet and the bioload you just put in it.

If I am correct, nitrates are a smaller incrament of nitrite...
This is incorrect. Nitrates are a different ion than nitrites. Nitrites are toxic to fish, nitrates are ok at low levels. Nitrites=NO2 (-2 charge), nitrates=NO3 (-1 charge) I believe....been a while since high school chem. Either way, they are two different things, and you need to test for both of them. An established, cycled tank will have some nitrates, water changes should keep them in the 10-15ppm range.

yea, i have no nitrite but a low amount of nitrate. I will give the angel a few more days, if he continues this habit, I will bring him to the LFS.
