Feeding Mollies

What is the best diet for Mollies? I have read you should feed them spinach, zuchini rind and live brine. I have also read cooked peas. I don't want to feed them something that will kill them.

feed them anything....flake, brine frozen....they are not picky at all. Even if you dont feed them at all Mollies will eat algae in your tank.

I'm not big on feeding my mollies vegetables. A good flake supplemented with brine shrimp, blood worms and an algae tab or two is all you really need for happy, healthy mollies. My reason for not using veggies are twofold: I don't trust them not to have pesticides that you or I wouldn't bat an eye at but might be lethal to such a small vertebrate like a molly; and secondly veggies can be a bit messy and require removal if not consumed in so many hours time. I prefer my method because I can break up algae discs and know the proper amounts of flake and blood worm to use already.

Hi,

I feed mine zucchini, usually leave for the weekend since my tank is at work. So far there is never any left when I return to work on Monday's. Yep, Mollies are little piggies and will eat anything.
