I wont to make sure I am feeding Gizzy the right things and healthy things so I wont to run what I feed him past you all and see if there is anything else he might like..Right now Gizzy and Mr Picasso get a mix of shrimp, mussels, squid, oysters, clams, and silversides all raw and all cut up in fishy bite size pieces.I have tried Krill but Gizzy wont touch it,Mr Picasoo wil eat it though.
I think I have turned all my fish in to meat eaters cause they all eat what I feed my meat eaters.Today my lawnmower blenny had a piece of shrimp as big as his head in his mouth and when the other fish went after it he ran to the rock with the shrimp.

Are you giving your tangs lots of herbivore foods or just meaty fare? Their diet needs to be primarily greens. The puffer would benefit from some greens as well. And I'm not sure but don't some deal with the dental care but feeing some food with shells?

Yes the puffer will need shells or he will have to be sedated with a mild clove oil solution to have his teeth trimmed (NOT A FUN THING TO DO).

My tangs have good greens diet. That is why I didn't mention them in the post because I know their diet.
My concern was for the 'porcupine's diet.I know they need hard foods for their teeth but I haven't had him long and he is not out going yet so I am not sure how to get him to eat hard things. He wont even touch krill.Their are crabs in the tank and 1 snail but he hasn't touched them.I am going to get him some small snails but I know Picasso will probably get to them first..So any ideas on how to get him to eat hard things,or suggestions on what hard things to try..Could him being so small and young be why he isn't after anything hard that is in the tank?

Could try clams in the shell from the grocery store. I get them for about 50 cents a piece here and the picasso I had never touched them.
