I hope I don't sound TOO stupid here. I just found a place that sells New Life Spectrum food and I've heard so much good stuff about it, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I picked up a jar of the Community formula.

Here's my problem. They're small pellets that sink before my fish get a chance to eat it. They're used to picking TetraMin Pro flakes off the surface until they slowly start to sink, then they'll eat them out of mid-water. So now I'm back to using the flakes, so they'll eat.

Am I missing something about pellet foods? I didn't see any NLS flake food. It was all pellets. It just seems to sink too fast for my fish to get any.

I think some of that sort of food might float for a little while if you try to set it in the water as opposed to dropping it in. I could be wrong, but its worth a shot!!

see if that brand has a floating type of pellet as most companies produce both sinking and floating food
