feeding rhino pleco

have you check this species out on planetcatfish.

Rhino Pleco (Glytoperichthys scrophus) pronounced glip top err ick thiss - skro fuss)

gets to be 11" " all but the most robust of plants tend to be eaten or uprooted. Flatstones and bogwood are required to construct caves. will even eat floating plants a good pleco for deeper aquarium"

tankmates says it's good for any medium sized community fish

I love planet catfish :cool2: :bowing:

I may just have "the most robust of plants", but my rhino has never shown any interest in bothering my java fern and anubias. Not at all.

All he seems to do is lay there motionless and poop driftwood sawdust!

My LFS told me it was one of the species that stayed small like the bristlenose. I guess it doesn't get HUGE like the common pleco, but 11 inches is still pretty big!
