feeding too much?

I agree with pretty much everyone here, My main tank that's well established gets 3-4 feedings a week alternating between pellets and flakes, and a couple sinking pellets or algea waffers every other day for the pleco. I've found if he gets hungry, a neon will usually disappear overnight. Brine shrimp are fed every couple weeks, whenever I feel like hatching some.

New/young fish in quarantine get small feedings 2x a day though

doesn't it cost more to feed him the neon then just feed more? sounds like if he is hungry a few more pellets won't hurt.
not sure where you live, but around here neons are 2.59 a piece.

I feed at night, once a day. Flakes for the top water, a couple of algae wafers for my clown plecos and usually three pellets for the pictus and cory cats. Usually right before I turn out the lights because my pictus will not come out and eat unless the lights are out.
