Well I got a 35 gal and a 45 gal and on Sunday I move in my new 90 gal. Got a great deal from a guy I found in the paper, 400 bucks for the whole thing including deco, fish, pumps, plants, etc. A lot of nice fish, a couple of breeding severns, two firemouths, two nice full grown gold gourmis, some big catfish not sure what kind and others which I will need to figure out.
You're right, aquariums are very addicting.
I've had MTS (multi-tank syndrome or Malaysian trumpet snail?) for a while, but I just moved to a new house 6 weeks ago, and in 2 weeks I am off to university where I am not allowed to have an aquarium (residence policy or something).
I can just imagine waking up in the middle of the night with cold sweats and seeing hallucinations of my old tanks.
Or not.....
Anyways, as soon as I get my own place, an aquarium will be the first thing on my list to set up -- before the big-screen.
It's pretty difficult to avoid catching MTS (Multi-Tank Syndrome). You know you've got a serious case of it when you start looking for a new apartment/house and you plan where you are going to put your tank(s) before you decide where to put your bed and/or big-screen TV.
More addictive than any drug I know of, and probably more expensive.lol
I started out with a 25gal. 18 months later I have 2 x 15 gal, 2 x 25 gal, 1 x 35 gal, 1 x 40 gal, 1 x 175 gal and 1 x 175 gal. If I had more room and money I wouldn't know where to stop.
